Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine how consumers view electronic payment systems. The researcher has chosen to examine five factors that might affect consumers’ perception towards electronic payment: benefit, ease of use, self-efficacy, trust, and security. This study has advanced knowledge as it provides information on the current state of e-payment acceptance and use, particularly among Malaysians. The significant factors identified are beneficial to policymakers, banking institutions, online transaction facilities providers, and software developers as they develop strategies aimed at increasing e-payment acceptance and use.
